The town is situated on the River Arno, which hosts the famous Ponte Vecchio, the only remaining bridge not to be destroyed during the Second World War. Florence houses some of the greatest works of art to be found in Europe, including Michelangelo’s statue of David and several frescoes, our guided tours are essential to make the most of what’s on offer.
