Assisi and Florence

Combine Umbria and Tuscany

Less than two hours coach journey north west of Assisi lies Florence, the regional capital of Tuscany. The town is situated on the River Arno, which hosts the famous Ponte Vecchio, the only remaining bridge not to be destroyed during the Second World War. Florence houses some of the greatest works of art to be found in Europe, including Michelangelo’s statue of David and several frescoes, our guided tours are essential to make the most of what’s on offer.

Your pilgrimage here will incorporate a guided visit to Florence’s most striking landmark: the Cathedral (or Duomo). Seen up close, Brunelleschi’s dome on the Duomo never fails to impress, his early 15th Century design well ahead of its time, and coupled with the awe-inspiring Cupola painting of the Last Judgement by Giorgio Vasari and Federico Zucchari, your time spent here will truly be time you will remember for your whole life.

Choose from a selection of pilgrimage tour options shown below, or contact us to discuss a tailor-made itinerary to suit your own group's requirements.
