See some of the most famous religious sites of Italy on this 7 day pilgrimage. You’ll get to travel around Amalfi, Sorrento, Pompeii and Rome and see some beautiful landscapes, whilst taking the opportunity to feel connected with the religious world.


The Amalfi Coast is one of the most beautiful throughout Italy and on this church tour you will get the chance to see Cloister of Paradise. It was built between 1266 and 1268 and was a cemetery for the noble merchants of Amalfi. Inside it Moorish, with beautiful arches and vivid Mediterranean gardens.


Pompeii is one of the most famous places in Italy, when Mount Vesuvius erupted in 79 BC, covering the city in ash, freezing it in time. It is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one that has to been seen with your own eyes.


In Rome you’ll visit The Vatican City and be able to see the Catcomab, Vatican Museum and the Sistine Chapel. These sites are beyond awe and wonder and with the help of our guides, you will be able to understand more about their religious significance.
You’ll also visit the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain and Pantheon in the beautiful city of Rome, to fully embrace the culture.


Day 1

We fly to Naples arriving, where we are met by a representative. We transfer to our hotel in Sorrento for our evening dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2

Full day guided to Amalfi and Ravello

After breakfast we are joined by a guide and transported by bus to via  Positano for the panoramic route to Amalfi where we visit the famous Cloister of Paradise (Chiostro del Paradiso) which was built in 1266AD. We continue with a visit to Villa Rufolo. We return to Sorrento for evening dinner and overnight.

Day 3

Full day guided to Pompei, Ercolano and transfer to Rome

After breakfast we depart Sorrento to transfer to Rome, we visit Ercolano and Pompei on route. Ercolano is the home to a town called Herculaneum, which is a smaller site then Pompeii but some say the ruins are better preserved, showing some wooden structural section that survived and fine examples of how Romans lived. Next we continue to Pompei, the town frozen in 79AD due to the eruption of Mount Vesuvius. Evening dinner and overnight in Rome.

Day 4

Full day guided in Rome

After breakfast, we are met by a courier and maybe transported by bus (depending on location of accommodation) for a guided visit of the Sistine Chapel and Vatican Gardens. (Our courier will introduce us to an official Vatican guide for the morning and leave us here). We then have free time to spend in the Vatican Museum. (There is a restaurant in the Vatican Museum if group members wish to stay all day rather than going out for lunch). Evening dinner and overnight in Rome.

Day 5

Half day guided at the Vatican

After breakfast, we are joined by a guide with bus transportation for the day (09.00), and start by visiting the Catacombs. We then continue on to visit the Scala Sancta. After a break for lunch, we then visit the nearby Basilica of St John Lateran. We then take our final visit of the day to the Basilica of St Mary Major. Evening dinner and overnight in Rome.

Day 6

Full day guided in Rome

After breakfast we are joined by a guide for the day, and are transferred by bus (at approximately 09.00) to visit the Colosseum and if there is time, have a look around the Roman Forum. During the afternoon we are transported by minibus to visit the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon and Piazza Navona. Evening dinner and overnight in Rome.

Day 7

Free day

After breakfast we enjoy some free time (depending on flight time) and then travel to Rome airport where we are assisted with check-in for our return flight.


Some of our groups prefer a full time guide, whilst others like to choose which sites they have a guide. We tailor this service to suit your needs.
