Santiago de Compostela is the final destination of the Way of Saint James pilgrimage route, and its old quarter is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Our tour includes a walking tour of this ancient city. Meander through the winding streets, squares and historical buildings and explore the impressive Santiago Cathedral, the resting place of St James.
We travel to Lugo, home to the best preserved Roman Wall in Europe and you then have the opportunity to walk part of the Pilgrims Way stopping to visit Pala de Rei, Melide, Sobrado dos Monxes, Arzua and Lavacolla en route. Those not wishing to walk will be transferred by coach instead.
Fly to La Coruna. Transfer to hotel in Santiago de Compostela.

Travel to Lugo with its Roman Wall. Follow part of the Pilgrim Road as a walking pilgrim. Stop to visit Pala de Rei, Melide, Sobrado dos Monxes, Arzua and Lavacolla en route.
After breakfast enjoy a free day to relax and explore.
